He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Darrington and Izetta Darrington (Lapworth); his wife Lois I. Dunblazier; his grandson Chris Darrington; and his sister Joyce Glesmann.
He is survived by: his sons, Don (Susan) of Griswold and Bruce (Barbara) of Independence; and his siblings, Byron Darrington (Jan), Vera Beamer and Esther Darrington. He is also survived by four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Memorials will be directed by the family.
