He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Mae; his granddaughter Jessica Lee; his daughter-in-law Catherine Louise; his parents, Clifford and Inez; his siblings, Harlan, Robert, Oliver, Ronnie and Betty; and his wife Catherine.
He is survived by: his sons, James D. (Glenda) of Griswold, IA, Rick (Kelly) of Councill Bluffs, IA, Mark (Rita) of Papillion, NE, Jerry (Tammy) of Atlantic, IA, Lee of Griswold, IA and Marty (Amy) of Griswold, IA. He is also survived by his 17 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
