He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Tye and Myrtle Tye (Doty); his daughter Karen; his in-laws, Ernest and Cleta Forsyth; his siblings, Gyle, John, Marlowe, Jay, Elgie, LaVerne and Gloria; and his brothers-in-law, Dean and Keith Forsyth.
He is survived by: his daughter Jacqueline; his wife Donna of Griswold, IA; his children, Jeffrey of McCool Junction, NE and Jacquline (Dennis Jones) of Greenfield, IA; his sister Suzanne Horter of Greenfield, IA; his grandchildren, Andrew Tye (Amber) of Corning, Joshua Tye (Emmaleigh) of Omaha, NE, Amber Tye of Omaha, NE, Richard Jones of Greenfield, IA, Mitch Tye of York, NE and Ashley (Andy Masmar) of Atlantic, IA; his sister-in-law Carol Forsyth of Red Oak, IA.; and his pet Duchess. He is also survived by his 6 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
