She was predeceased by: her husband George Nassiff; her son Blain Petersen; and her stepson Jeff Nassiff. She is survived by: her daughters, Kim Westphal (Jeff) of Casey and Tamara Nassiff (David) of Ankeny, Iowa; her daughter-in-law Kay Petersen of Essex, Iowa; her stepdaughters, Karen Miller (Greg) of Sioux City and Kathy Wentz (Matt) of Le Mars, Iowa; and her siblings, Fred Cahhal of Des Moines, Iowa., Madeline Cahhal of Des Moines, Iowa. and Belva Hall of Des Moines, Iowa.. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the First Church of Christ (310 NW Ash Dr, Ankeny, IA 50023). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (6605 Morningside Ave, Sioux City, IA 51106).
