He was predeceased by: his parents, James Patrick and Doris Pauline Casey (Silk); his siblings, Michael (Mickey) and Mary; his brother-in-law Harlan Rudd; and his son John Cartwright.
He is survived by: his children, Janell Harold (Terry) of Omaha, NE, Tonya Burk (Ed) of Milan, TN, Jerinda McKamy (Ronald) of La Vista, NE and Jill Cartwright of Ellensburg, WA; and his siblings, Karen Rudd of Drakesville, IA and David Casey of Drakesville, IA. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; and 27 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rieken Duhn Funeral Home (300 Main St, Griswold, IA 51535). A memorial service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
