He is survived by: his mother Mary Ann Kirchhoff (Mundorf); his wife Karen Downey; his daughters, Carrie Jefferson (Brad) and Chelsey McAdams (Aaron); his pet Ruger; his grandchildren, Logan (Caitlin), Collin, Averi, Jadynn (Gage), Mason, Kaylee and Hayden; his great grandchildren, Baylor and Watson; his brother Jeffery (Teresa); his nephew Justin (Joelle); and his children-in-law, Mary Pat Foltz (Ron), Mick Downey (Cathy), Anita Pangelina (Hank), Scott Downey (Tonja), Dan and Josh. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Drue's name.
