We are sad to announce that on August 7, 2023, at the age of 84, Betty Jean Holmes of Griswold, Iowa, born in Omaha, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, G. E. Chapman and Stella Chapman (Casbrak); her siblings, Bill Chapman (Ruth), Raymond Chapman (Maxine), G. E. Chapman, Jr. (Chris), Kenneth Chapman, Charlene Chapman and Charles Chapman (Mary); her grandchild Kaeli Jo Holmes; and her siblings, CJ Richards and Kenzlee Jacobsen.
She is survived by: her children, Vickie Magnuson (Don) of Bellevue, NE, Robin Haas (Ron) of Griswold, IA, Pennie Dougherty of Bellevue, NE, Tina Goodspeed of Bellevue, NE, Russell Boseck of Griswold, IA, Michelle Bartlett (Jeremy) of Shenandoah, IA, Kelly Holmes (Julie) of Atlantic, IA, Rick Holmes (Suzanne) of Griswold, IA and Dawn Wilson (Amos) of Pantego, NC. She is also survived by 43 grandchildren; 52 great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
