She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Askey and Dorothy Askey (Hagle); her husband Lyle William Schaaf; and her siblings, Jerry, Jo Ann and Judy.
She is survived by: her son Jeff Schaaf of Griswold, IA; her grandsons, Colton Schaaf of Bedford, IA and Caleb Schaaf of Griswold, IA; and her siblings-in-law, Sylvia Schaaf of Atlantic, IA and Lynn Schaaf (Patricia) of Griswold, IA. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
