He was predeceased by: his parents, William Husak and Mary Husak (Zmolek); and his siblings, Charlie, Paul, John, Emil and Pepper (Jerry VanOmmen).
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Husak of Grinnell; his daughters, Shelly Vokoun (Todd) of Grinnell and Nicole Buchholz (Nathan) of Omaha, Nebraska; his grandsons, Matthew and Jacob; and his siblings, Pete Husak of North Liberty and Julia Benda of Elberon. He is also survived by in-laws and nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to St. Mary Catholic Church in Grinnell or to a charity of the donor's choice.
