It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Killough Lannom of Grinnell, Iowa, who passed away on March 30, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sharp III and Dorothy Lannom (Williams). He is survived by: his wife Anne Lannom (Stokely); his sons, William Lannom of Des Moines and John Lannom of San Diego, California.; his grandchildren, Elle, Mia Lannom and Trey Lannom; and his brothers, Sharp (Linda), Tom and Chad (Susan).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Smith Funeral Home - Grinnell (1103 Broad St, Grinnell, IA 50112).
Donations may be made to the Iowa City Veterans Hospital marked "for palliative care.". Donations may also be given to Grinnell Poweshiek Community Foundation "Tigers' Scholarship Fund – in Memory of Bill Lannom.".
