She was predeceased by: her parent Helen Simmons (Brackney); her daughter Debbie Sosebee; and her sisters, Shirley, Ann and Marge.
She is survived by: her sister Marjory; her husband John Plate; her sons, Steve Plate (Cindy), Bob Plate (Mellisa) and Tim Plate (Cindy); her grandchildren, Trisha Smith (Brian), Jason Sosebee (Kristen), Jon Plate (Nichelle), Ryan Plate (Alex), Andy Plate, Ryan Chapman, Cody Chapman, Emma Plate, Kaitlyn Plate, Madeline Plate, Jesse Schmidt (Brooke), Cherie Schmidt and Chad Schmidt (Karley); her sisters, Pat and Judy; and her son-in-law Tom Sosebee. She is also survived by her great grandchildren and great-great grandchild.
