She was predeceased by: her parents, Laird M. Wray and Esther Wray (Ahrens); her husband Carlyle Phipps; her daughter Nancy Lynn Phipps; her great grandchild Hope Maxine Phipps; and her brother Laird Donald Wray.
She is survived by: her children, David Phipps (Mary) of St. Cloud, MN, Diane Burk (Michael) of Edina, MN and Steven Phipps (Debbie) of Waukee, IA; her grandchildren, Andrew Phipps (Wendi), Sarah Sills (Brian), Samuel Phipps (Julia Franz), Daniel Phipps, Emma Phipps, Audra Vann (Jeremy), Adam Burk, Aaron Burk (Jaimie) and Tanner Hathaway; and her brother Larry Wray (Jo). She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be given to Grinnell United Methodist Church, St. Francis Manor Foundation, or to Care Initiatives Hospice.
