We are sad to announce that on January 12, 2021, at the age of 84, Tom Ellis of Grinnell, Iowa, born in Chariton, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Thomas Ellis and Nina Marie Ellis (Stewart); and his stepdaughter Diana McGilvrey. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Ellis of Grinnell; his daughter Laura VanCompernolle (Dave) of Grinnell; his stepchildren, George McGilvrey of Waterloo, IA, Debra McGilvrey of Grinnell and Michael McGilvrey of Conroe, TX; and his brother David Ellis of Orange, CA.. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A face mask will be required for those attending the visitation and funeral service.
