He is survived by: his wife Kelli McNurlen of John's Lutheran Church; his children, Tobbie Walter (Jed Van Zante) of Chicago, IL, Jess Gersdorf (Ryan) of Grinnell, IA and Andy Walter (Ashley) of Victor, IA; his grandchildren, Michelle Burkett, Stella, Axl Gersdorf and Dawson Walter; and his sisters, Beth Glasnapp (Dana), Sue Walter and Cindy Juhl (Kenny).
