Suzi Hansen Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 4, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Suzi Hansen of Grinnell, Iowa. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Thiltgen and Lizanne Thiltgen (Reihsen); and her sister Becky Kemp. She is survived by: her husband Bill; her daughter Renee Deitrich (Jay) of Grinnell, IA; her grandchildren, Ava of Cedar Falls, IA and Maxwell of Ankeny, IA; and her siblings, Tom Thiltgen of Carol Stream, IL and Judy Blake (Rick) of Waterloo, IA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, extended family members, and many loyal friends.
A rosary was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (1002 Broad St, Grinnell, IA 50112). Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
Before her passing, Suzi requested that in lieu of flowers, that you direct your generosity to the following organizations: The American Cancer Society, St. Jude's Hospital, The Mica Food Pantry, the Wounded Warrior Project, the Grinnell High School in care of The Invisible Closet, and the Grinnell Middle School in care of The Invisible Closet.
