She is survived by: her sons, Steve Hanssen (Cheryl) of Grinnell and Randy Hanssen (Carol) of Urbandale, Iowa; and her siblings, Gene Irwin (Diane) of Bloomfield and Virginia McDowell of Grinnell. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
