She was predeceased by: her parents, Geneive McIlrath (Iske) and James Harley McIlrath; and her brother James Harley II. She is survived by: her former husband Floyd Junior; her children, Rhonda Dvorak (Jeff) of Sun, AZ, Kurt (Amanda) of Houston, TX and Melissa Owens (James) of Grinnell, IA; her grandchildren, Ryan of Arizona, Morgan of Texas and Blake of Grinnell, Iowa.; her husband Ron Johnston of Grinnell; her daughter Kim Maidment (Neil); her grandchildren, Matthew Arensdorf, Geneive Hannah and Gabriella Elizabeth Miller; and her siblings, Pat McIlrath (James) of Grinnell, Nancy Williams (Jim) of Grinnell, Marlene McIlrath of Grinnell, Kathy Brown (Pat) of Grundy Center and Stan McIlrath (Pam) of Grinnell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Heart Association, Diabetes Foundation, American Cancer Society, or to Grinnell Christian Church, and mailed in care of the Smith Funeral Home, PO Box 368, Grinnell, Iowa.
