She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Bohstedt and Gesine Bohstedt (Harjes); her husband Virgil Palmer; her brother Edward; and her sister-in-law Anne Bohstedt.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Hickman (Steve) of Des Moines, Kris Morgan (Russ) of Des Moines and Gary Palmer (Kelley) of Cedar Rapids. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
The family encourages those attending the service to wear a face mask.
