He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Paul Heishman and Lucile Pauline Heishman (Kriegel); his sisters, Kay Evans and Anna Mae Mintle; his daughter Tina Heishman; and his grandson Robbie Hayes, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Linda Heishman of Grinnell; his children, Richard Heishman (Shana) of Grinnell and Elizabeth Heishman of Marshalltown; his grandchildren, Helle Neville of Tama, Paul Hopkins of Marshalltown, Natasha Heishman of Marshalltown, Tyler White of Marshalltown and Mia Heishman of Grinnell; and his sister Barbara See of Grinnell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
