He is survived by: his wife Judy Roland of Grinnell; his sons, Royal Roland (Barbara) of Grinnell and Duane Roland (Connie) of Grinnell; his grandchildren, Nick Roland (Jessica) of Grinnell, William Roland (Gretchen) of Floris, Tessa Perrin (JD) of Lebanon, Leah Tokle (Cole) of Adair, Ryan Rezabek of Davenport, Janelle Rezabek (Phillip) of Fort Collins, Hope Kirby (Ethan) of Grimes and Faith Jones (Evan) of Grinnell; his great grandchildren, Ethan Roland, Delanie, Jackson, Virgil Roland, Charlotte, Evelyn Perrin, Macy and Tokle; and his sibling Gene Roland (Juanita) of Waterloo.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 12:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Smith Funeral Home - Grinnell (1103 Broad St, Grinnell, IA 50112). A burial was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 11:30 AM and at 12:00 PM at the Hazelwood Cemetery (120 1st Ave W, Grinnell, IA 50112).
