He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond and Betty Wolfe Puls, Sr.; his brother Ray Puls, Jr.; and his nephew Tim Brown. He is survived by: his former wife Julie Ann Roberts; his children, Tyler Puls (Liz Puls) of Des Moines, Travis Puls of Malcom and Nicole Wallace (Nick) of Des Moines; his grandsons, Walter and Owen Puls; his siblings, Ron Puls (Jane) of Malcom, Rick Puls (Sheryl) of Malcom, Rod Puls (Robin McCammant) of Grinnell, Russell Puls of Grinnell, Deb VanAuken (Kip) of Grinnell, Rhonda Puls (Bill Lane) of Grinnell and DeAnna Hoien of Grinnell; and his sister-in-law Pam Puls of Malcom.

Memorial contributions may be designated to the Roger Puls Memorial Fund.
