He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Lawthers and Mary Lawthers (Williams); his wife Beverly Ann Clark of Montour; and his brother-in-law Robert Johnson. He is survived by: his son Brian (Lori) of Roanoke, TX; his close friend Linda Roush of Grinnell; his sister Delores Johnson of Grinnell; his daughter Belinda Stevens (Maggie) of Farmington, MO; and his granddaughters, Amanda, Sydney and Reagan.
