He is survived by: his children, Sharon Rubel of Grinnell, Douglas Rubel of San Antonio, Barbara Ames (Doug) of Rocheport and Beverly King (Robert) of Crestview, Florida; his grandchildren, Alicia Corron Andrews, Michael Corron, Andrew (Veronica), Erin, Megan Johnson, Nickolas Samourian (Alicia) and Josh Ames; his great grandchildren, Joan, Leda Andrews and Gianna Johnson; and his sister Colleen Hammond of Sturgis.
