It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard L. Purcell (Grinnell, Iowa), born in Anamosa, Iowa, who passed away on May 6, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Purcell and Cora Purcell (Walters); and his siblings, Ernest Purcell and Evelyn Newhard. He is survived by: his wife Marty (Marty) of Minneapolis; his daughter Lynn; his son-in-law Gene Valek of Minneapolis; and his brother Robert Purcell (Helen) of Webster Groves, Missouri. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
