He was predeceased by: his son David Lowry; his grandson Richard James Lowry; and his brother Loring Lowry. He is survived by: his wife Doris Lowry of Grinnell; and his children, Ronald Lowry (Becky Hauser) of Grinnell, Dennis Lowry (Barbie) of Montezuma and Debbie Halstead (Kirk) of Grinnell. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren.
