He was predeceased by : his parents, Roy Roscoe and Sylvia Inez Sampson (Boyd); his wife Waneta Thoman; his children, Jan, Tanya, Marvin and Rick; his grandchildren, Andrew and Aubree; and his siblings, Arlene, Harold, Virgil and Roy Jr..
He is survived by : his grandchildren, Tammy Plowman (Brian), Melissa Sivola (Tony), Christina Stevens (Richard), Marissa Quandahl (Brent), Amanda Flater (Mike), Jason Cole, Jamie Eitel (Ty), Jake Cole (Monica), Michael Cole (Tonya), Heather Cole, Lindsay Belger (Christopher) and Kayla Broadston; his daughter-in-law Cindy Cole; and his siblings, Lloyd Cole (Sara), Richard Cole (Pamela), Lavene Cole (Linda) and Vicki Lane (Steve). He is also survived by his thirty-four great-grandchildren and eighteen great- great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.
