With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rachel Crawford of Grinnell, Iowa, who passed away on December 26, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tilford Innis and Mary Innis (Koger); her husband Delbert Crawford; her son Delbert; and her siblings, Russell Innis, Harold Innis, Hazel Innis, Ruth Burr, Mary Loupee, Bernice Williams, Charles Innis and Tilford Innis Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Diane Dillon (Rick) of Searsboro, David Crawford (Jill) of Grinnell and Brian Crawford (Vicki) of Newburg; her grandchildren, Justin Dillon, Jeff Dillon (Angie), Jarod Dillon (Megan Stewart) of Vanessa Crawford, JJ, Wyatt Crawford, Holli Cushman, Jesse Cushman, Lora Stevens and Mike Bown; and her sister-in-law Norma Innis. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Home - Grinnell (1103 Broad St, Grinnell, IA 50112). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Hazelwood Cemetery (120 1st Ave W, Grinnell, IA 50112).
