Nedra Neville Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nedra Neville of Grinnell, Iowa, who passed away on December 22, 2024. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nedra Neville to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Morgan Hicks and Viola Hicks of Malcolm, Iowa.; and her siblings, Leatha Hicks, Lorna Hall, Morgan Hicks Jr., Dorothy Clifton and Ruth Varnum.
She is survived by: her children, Vickie of Omaha, NE and Wayne (Ann) of Tipton, IA.; her granddaughters, Katelyn (Samatha), Angel and Ashley (Joe); her great grandchildren, Tatum, Sterling, Raelyn, Clayton and Cooper; her brother-in-law Thomas Varnum; her former husband Wayne (Art Goeke); and her daughter Dawn Neville Henry. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and longtime close friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Smith Funeral Home - Grinnell (1103 Broad St, Grinnell, IA 50112). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Ivy Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Wieting Theatre in Toledo, IA or Ivy Hill Cemetery Association in Malcom, IA, and mailed in care of the Smith Funeral Home and Crematory, PO Box 368, Grinnell, IA 50112.
