She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Chris Kern and Carry Kern (Zuber); her former husband Lloyd Coots of Mt. Auburn Iowa; her husband Oscar Cordes; her children, Ronald Coots (Beverly) of Sioux City, Roger Coots (Rhonda) of Springdale, Arkansas and Dawn Hanson (Coots) of Grinnell; her grandchildren, Ronette Coots, Kevin Coots (Katie Anderson), Trissi Bannister (Michael), Mike Coots (Alicia), Scott Hanson (Kristina), Brad Hanson (Samantha) and Andrew Hanson; her great grandchildren, Ashley, Payton, Jameson Bannister, Kaden, Karter, Sophia Coots, Gavin, Cadence Hanson and Bryce Hanson; and her great great grandchildren, Ella, Marshall and Caroline. She was also cherished by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
