She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Onthank and Ollie Onthank (Phipps); her sisters, Irene Kester, Mildred Claybrook, Elsie May Van Gorp, Darlene Hamor, Rose Johnson and Mary Doris; and her great grandchild Brant Saunders.
She is survived by: her husband Dick of Grinnell; her children, Jim Saunders (Barb) of Grinnell and Betty Edwards (Rob) of Branson, Missouri; her sister Grace Davis of Le Grand; and her grandchildren, Tammy Pigot, Chad Wright, Scott and Terry Saunders. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
