Michael Dean Kriegel Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 20, 2025, at the age of 73, Michael Dean Kriegel of Grinnell, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Kriegel and Billy Mae Kriegel (Niner); and his daughter Staci Shepard. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Oltrogge; his son Scott Kriegel (Tabitha); his grandchildren, Abigail Kriegel, Brady Moore, Blaine Kriegel and Alyssa Kriegel; and his siblings, Bobbie Heishman (Ed), Steve Kriegel, Tom Kriegel (Karla), Jan Graham (Jim) and Julie Kriegel.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Home - Grinnell (1103 Broad St, Grinnell, IA 50112). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (1002 Broad St, Grinnell, IA 50112). A graveside service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Hazelwood Cemetery (120 1st Ave W, Grinnell, IA 50112).
