She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyle McBroom and Hazel Irene McBroom (Wastier); her husband Floyd Purvis; and her daughters, Judy Foster, Kathy Foster (Stephen) and Pam Gibson (Vernon).
She is survived by: her daughter Denise Sedlock of Grinnell; her son-in-law Charles Foster (Margaret) of Newton; her grandchildren, Ben Rupe, Jason Foster (Jill), Jenni Wisdom (Sam), Jordan Sedlock and Jarrin Phipps (Nicole); her sister Patricia Jeffries; and her siblings-in-law, Freeman Purvis and Florene Brown. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
