It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Matt S. Peiffer of Grinnell, Iowa, born in Washington, Iowa, who passed away on October 10, 2020, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Paul Peiffer and Bonnie J. Peiffer (Simpson). He is survived by: his wife Ann Peiffer of Grinnell; his daughter Stephanie Hoopes (Andrew); his grandchildren, Jack, Aaden, Ben, Anna and Nick Peiffer; his great grandchildren, Alex, Eli and Sam Peiffer (Lindsey); his sister Debbi Murty (Jerry) of Tama, Iowa; and also, Theodore, Madison Brooks (Nick), Blake of Grinnell and Luke of Grinnell. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.

Those attending the service and reception will be required to wear a face mask.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Matt Peiffer Memorial Fund to benefit local organizations designated by Matt's family.
