She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Spooner (Mike) of Polk City, IA and Angela Van Ersvelde (Kent) of Grinnell, IA; and her grandchildren, Morgan Schuh (Ben), Jordan LaCoste (Chris), Heather Freese (Dave), Hayley Mathews (Jeff) and Kelsey Van Ersvelde. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Poweshiek Animal League Shelter (PALS), an organization whose cause was very dear to Mary.
