She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Cooper and Bessie Jane Dick Cooper; her sons, Steven and Richard Long; and her brother Ralph Cooper.
She is survived by: her husband Roger of Grinnell; her daughter Cathy Pierce (Dave) of Grinnell; her siblings, Betty Niday (Dwight) of Grinnell and Chuck Cooper (Bonnie) of Kellogg; her daughter-in-law Linda Long of Newton; her grandchildren, Mike Pierce of Chicago, Andy Pierce (Julie) of Metter, Jeanette Martinez (John) of Meridian and Matt Long (Monique) of El Segundo, California; and her great grandchildren, Joshua, Anna, Jake, Jade, Blake and Makayla.
