It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mark James Kennett (Grinnell, Iowa), born in Kaiapoi, South Island, who passed away on February 4, 2021, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Phil Kennett; and his stepfather Athol Cattermole of Kaiapoi. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his son Scott Kennett (Kerry); his grandchildren, Kieran and Eloise of Sackets Harbor, NY; his daughter Amy Kennett of Philadelphia, PA; his mother Janice Cattermole of Kaiapoi; and his siblings, Keiry Belton (Derek) of Wellington and Bryce Kennett of Kaiapoi. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and numerous friends.
