It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lyle John Latcham of Grinnell, Iowa, born in Montezuma, Iowa, who passed away on June 28, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Milton Latcham and Cecil Annetta Latcham (Olson); his children, Judith Latcham, Janice Reimers Kriegel and Allen Latcham; his son-in-law Harry Reimers; his grandchildren, Lance Reimers and Cora Oliver; and his siblings, Merle, Gail Latcham and Florence Stanerson.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Latcham of Grinnell; his children, Dianna Kelting (Darlo) of Grinnell, Carol Oliver (Jeff) of Grinnell and David Latcham (Annette) of Grinnell; and his daughter-in-law Teresa Latcham (Allen) of Lynnville. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
Memorials may be designated to the John Latcham Memorial Fund to benefit local organizations and mailed in care of the Smith Funeral Home, PO Box 368, Grinnell, Iowa 50112.
