She was predeceased by: her parents, William Pickens and Darlene Jones Pickens; her husband Leslie Dale Pinkerton; her son Lanny Pinkerton; and her brother Dennis Pickens.
She is survived by: her son Todd Pinkerton of Grinnell; her grandchildren, Christopher Pinkerton (Melissa) of Grinnell, T. J. Pinkerton (Alisyn) of Grinnell and Kody Pinkerton (Carrie) of Kellogg; her brothers, Ronald Pickens (Diane) of Grinnell and Steve Pickens (Sherry) of Marshalltown; and her sister-in-law Mickey Pickens of Grinnell. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be designated to the Boy Scout Troop 313, Grinnell United Methodist Church, or the Lanny Pinkerton Memorial Scholarship Fund, associated through Grinnell High School.
