She was predeceased by: her grandson Gregory Schnell; her brothers, Donald and Jack Whisenand; her siblings-in-law, June, Merlene, Sylvia, Helen and Duane Phillips; her parents-in-law, Ralph Sr. and Alma Eash Ogan; her siblings-in-law, Ronnie Ogan, Ralph and Shirley Lemke; her niece Kathy Phillips Henry; and her nephew Chuck Whisenand.
She is survived by: her husband Officer Ralph Ogan; her children, Roberta Schnell (Dale) of Lynnville, Robert Ogan (Linda) of Montezuma and Michael Ogan (Monica) of Grinnell; her grandchildren, Matthew Ogan (Missy), Angie Patterson (Scott), Christopher Ogan (Jenny), Jeremy Schnell (Jodi) and Joel Schnell (Heather); her stepgrandchildren, Lori and Bradley Nelson; her great grandchildren, Garrett Ogan, Tania Thompson Jones (Derek), Halley Ogan Barker (Kane), Dakota Schnell, Tyler Thompson, Blaine Ogan, Reese Schnell, Jessica Ogan, Brady Ogan, Makenna, Selah and Keegan Schnell; her great great grandchild Jameson Jones; her siblings, Gerald Whisenand (Karen) of South Beloit, Bill Whisenand of Albuquerque, Paul Whisenand of Ames, Phyllis Phillips of Montezuma and Linda Hotchkin (Jim) of Grinnell; and her sister-in-law Virginia Ogan of Osceola.
