She was predeceased by: her father James "Ed" Adkins; and her brother Philip Adkins. She is survived by: her mother Esther Allen Adkins; her siblings, Gene Adkins (Michelle) and Lacinda Hanson (Michael); her nephews, Stephen Ramerth (Melissa) and Mathew Ramerth (Violet Ohnstad); and her niece Megan Ramerth (Brandon Ferguson).
