She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Matteson and Blanche Smith Matteson; her husband Max Eugene Bennington; and her siblings, Bert, Terry Matteson, Roma Carroll and Carol Henning.
She is survived by: her daughter Susan Schmidt (Todd); and her granddaughter Ashley Symbol of Grinnell.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be designated to the Linda Bennington Memorial Fund.
