It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Ann James (Grinnell, Iowa), born in Newton, Iowa, who passed away on July 22, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Wilbur Halter; her former husband Joe Berry; her mother Jean Halter; her daughter Ronda Roush; her great grandchildren, McCoy and RorieAnn Davis; and her siblings-in-law, Ramona James and Charles James.
She is survived by: her husband Earl Eugene James of Lynnville; her sons, Danny James (Debbie), Donnie James (Jessica) and Mark James (Heather); her siblings, Joyce Behrens (Joe), Mary Sloan (Dennis) and David Halter (Bev); her grandchildren, Kimberly Pruitt, Kelly Davis, Kegan Wertz, Kenzie Stier, Shonna, Richelle Roush, Kynlee and Paige James; and her great grandchildren, Everett, Josie Russell, Maverick, MacGyver, Harley and Veronica.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be designated to Friends of the Lynnville Public Library.
