He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Jansen and Doris Jansen (Snyders). He is survived by: his wife Echo Jansen of Grinnell; his children, Justin Jansen (Danielle) of Honolulu, Leo and Mayu; his sister Leanne Jansen (Mike Pfantz); his sisters-in-law, April Severino, Carlin Peer and Clover Kirschbaum; and also, Scott, Kasey Herbers, Livie, Finn, Ryan, Molly Mahaffey, Trace and JoJo.
Memorials may be designated to the Larry Jansen Memorial Fund to benefit local organizations selected by the family and should be mailed in care of the Smith Funeral Home, PO Box 368, Grinnell, Iowa 50112.
