He is survived by: his daughters, Angela Hines of Grinnell, Melissa Hines (Richard Roop) of Grinnell and Trisha Oftedahl of Ottumwa; his stepson Walter "Scott" Manley of Grinnell; and his siblings, Roger Hines (Robyn Phillips) of Grinnell and Kathy Meyer (Cliff) of Vancouver. He is also survived by his 22 grandchildren.
