With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kelly Smith of Grinnell, Iowa, born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 17, 2024 at the age of 58. He was predeceased by: his father Virgil Smith. He is survived by: his daughter Madilyn Smith of Grinnell, Iowa; his mother Ellene Smith of West Union, Iowa; and his sisters, Lisa Carey (Keith) of West Union, Iowa and Leslie Hemry (Rodney) of West Union, Iowa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
