With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathy J. Mergen of Grinnell, Iowa, born in Emmetsburg, Iowa, who passed away on August 22, 2022 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her parents, Kenneth L. Mergen and Janice M. Mergen (Schultz); and her brothers, Keith Mergen (Heidi) and Lynn Mergen (Sheree Lahue). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
