It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judy Sears of Grinnell, Iowa, who passed away on October 14, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Doud and Doris Doud; her husband Clarence Sears; her stepfather Lyle Wiley; her parents-in-law, Del Sears and Ann Paul Sears Lang; her stepfather-in-law Bob Lang; her brother John Doud; her niece Julie Doud; and her sisters-in-law, Jane Allnutt and Margie Sears.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Sears (Jana) of Gilman, IA and Lisa Sears of Grinnell; her siblings-in-law, Connie Doud of Des Moines, IA and Paul Sears of Grinnell; and her nephew Nick Doud.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to the Gilman First Responders and mailed in care of the Smith Funeral Home and Crematory, PO Box 368, Grinnell, IA 50112.
