He was predeceased by: his parents, James Smith and Irene Smith (Nelson); and his sister Barb Payne. He is survived by: his wife Donna Riddle of Montezuma; his daughter Lisa Blubaugh (Josh) of Altoona; his granddaughter Raven Heathcote of Des Moines; and his sister Shirley Stewart of Antioch, IL.
