He was predeceased by: his parents, LaVerne Raffety and Iness Raffety (Straight); and his siblings, Maynard Raffety (Eloise) and Carolyn Knutson (Clayton). He is survived by: his brothers, Seymour Raffety (Carmen) and Donald Raffety (Faye); his wife Suzy; his children, Michael Raffety (Dan Tran) and Megan Veldboom (Lance); his granddaughters, Elizabeth Brace (Nathan), Emmaleah Beam (Tanner), Naomi Veldboom and Rebekah Veldboom; his great grandchildren, Isaac and Eliza Joy Brace; and his cousin Stan Greenwald (Gail). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
