He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Thomas and Margaret Alice Peak Harris; his wife Shirley Harris; and his brother Tom Harris. He is survived by: his children, Debra Arment (Jim Cunningham) of Grinnell, Vickie Rutherford (Mark) of Grinnell, Kim Patten (Tom) of Grinnell and Mike Harris (Misty) of Grinnell; his grandchildren, Justin Arment (Shannon) of Brooklyn, Corey Arment (LaRae) of Toddville, Amber Lewis (Brian) of Grinnell, Holli Robbins (Brett) of Waterloo, Nick Rutherford (Josie), Brett, Blake Morrison of Grinnell, Emily Patten of Wabasha, Gregory Foshee and Emalee Harris of Grinnell; his sister Barbara Yungclas (Bill) of Ames; and his sister-in-law Betty Harris of Grinnell. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren and his first great-great grandchild.
